Top 5: Where I Purchase my Plants

If you’ve been following me on IG for awhile, you’ve seen the gems I’ve discovered in the most common shopping areas. At times, I even surprise myself lol. I wanted to write this blog post to share some of my favorite places to shop for plants. Keep in mind, I live in zone 7b, 8a so stores may vary in regards to product. Let’s get to it.

1.     Trader Joe’s: I have found so so many beautiful plants at Trader Joe’s unintentionally including a fiddle fig, monstera, 2 alocasia’s, and an ivy.

2.     Food Lion: I know you’re probably thinking “the grocery store Brittanie?!” YES. My local food lion has carried a variety of peace lilies, aloe’s, money tree’s, and some bonsai’s!

3.     Walmart: Lately, Walmart has really stepped their game up with their garden center. I have to reframe from spending all of my money there every time I shop with them. I purchased a dumb cane in great condition just about a month ago. They also carry most seeds for those who want to start a garden.

4.     Lowe’s: We all expect to find plants a Lowe’s BUT this summer, Lowe’s didn’t come to play. I randomly purchased elephant ears, a friendship plant, and several zz’s.

5.     Ikea: Ikea is a GEM in my opinion when it comes to plants. I’ve seen a plethora of plants in Ikea and I’ve spent so much money in there. The plants are reasonably priced and are always in pretty good condition in my opinion.
